A new local platform for community news and practical alerts

Mabuhay, Palawan — A new community platform called Tayo.Dito. Palawan has been introduced with the aim of bringing residents, barangays and small businesses across the island closer together. The platform positions itself as a single shared place for local updates, stories, event notices and practical alerts that affect everyday life.
Palawan stretches more than 400 kilometres from north to south, and many communities are separated by long roads, mountains, islands and the sea. Tayo.Dito. was created to make local information easier to find and faster to share, so that important updates reach more people and communities stay better connected.
The name Tayo.Dito. means 'We. Here.' — a simple phrase that underlines the platform’s purpose: to be together for families, kapitbahay, barangays, local businesses and everyone who lives, works, visits and builds the future of Palawan.
According to the platform’s introduction, Tayo.Dito. Palawan will publish useful local updates, community stories, local news, events, services and opportunities. It will also carry practical alerts that matter to daily planning and safety: brownout schedules, water interruptions, weather warnings, road updates, public advisories, emergency information and other notices.
Organisers behind the platform emphasise that its real strength will come from the people of Palawan — from the bayanihan spirit of those who share, support, inform, help and care. The platform is presented as a starting point: a place that will grow as more residents, barangays and small businesses contribute information and stories.
Tayo.Dito. Palawan highlights the importance of making local information easy to find, giving visibility to small businesses and ensuring every community voice has a place. As the initiative begins in Palawan, the platform is described as the first local rollout in the Philippines.
We are proud to start here. Tayo.Dito. Palawan. We are here. Together.
